Mikey Duffy is a creative and culture writer based in Long Island, New York. He recently graduated from Fordham University with a B.A. in English and Film/Television and a minor in Communications and Culture.

As a student, Mikey was interested in contemporary literature as well as queer theory and studies. He wrote pieces comparing Foucault’s Queer Theory and the series Sex Education, analyzing themes of light in Susan Egan’s A Visit from the Goon Squad, and discussing queer representation in television.

Mikey has a recreational blog where he writes reviews, analyses, and think pieces regarding current pop culture news and media he loves to consume. Additionally, his writing has been featured in Brightly, MODE Magazine, and Penguin Random House.

His favorite pastimes include reading, singing, and lying to strangers at parties just for the hell of it.
